I don't tend to make Father's Day cakes, partly because it is wedding season, but I have done many "dad" cakes. Golfing, carpentry, trucks, hockey, etc... So here is a golf ball cake that I made last year. The cake was carrot spice with cream cheese icing.
Although MY dad is not a golfer, my husband is, and he will be found, along with many other dads, out on the golf course tomorrow. He will not get cake, but many handcrafted cards and gifts from his children, and probably a burger and a beer. And he will love it!
