My plumber had his birthday this past week, and when his wife emailed and asked me to make a cake, I couldn't turn it down. She sent me photos of his bag and the tools he uses so I could replicate them out of sugar.
The bag was made of chocolate cake with strawberry buttercream. I had never made a zipper before, and am happy with how it turned out. And thanks to my children's magic markers, I was able to create some realistic copper piping! (I leave that to your imagination!)
